Frequently Asked Questions

Broadcasting 10 questions
• Can I broadcast while pregnant?

Yes you can and we even have a category for pregnant models. It’s a fetish that appeals to certain members, so we definitely encourage it.

• How do I change my Primary Profile photo?

We require all models to have a primary profile photo, so this cannot be deleted. However, you can REPLACE your primary photo by uploading a new photo and setting it as your primary. Once the new one is approved, you may (optionally) delete the old primary photo.

Please note, the approval process takes one business day.

• Can I broadcast during my period?

It’s totally up to you. Some members may be grossed out by it, but others may find it a turn-on. If you’re comfortable with it, then go for it! Who are we to judge?

• How do I broadcast from my phone or tablet?
• To broadcast from a mobile device, you have to install an app called Puffin Web Browser and use that instead of Chrome or Safari, when you broadcast.
• You can install Puffin from the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store.
• What do the member colors mean?
• Grey – Guest member, no credits and they can only view, not chat
• Yellow – Free member, no credits
• Blue – Member has a credit card on file, so he can buy credits instantly
• Green – Member has credits to spend

Therefore, you should focus mostly on the Blue and Green members, but be polite to Yellow members. Remember that every Blue and Green member on the site started out as a Yellow member. The reason members upgrade is because they have a positive experience with a model on the site. We know some Yellow members can be annoying, but if you’re rude to them, you’re only hurting yourself in the long run.

• Can I use my Lovense Lush or OhMiBod interactive toy on your sites?

Yes, we support interactive toys. Please read our article, Interactive Shows for details.

• How do I start broadcasting?

Once your profile has been approved, you’ll see a Go Online button at the top of the screen in your model account. Click the Go Online button and the broadcast application will open.

If the broadcast window doesn’t open, try these troubleshooting steps:

1. The page may not have fully loaded. Try reloading the page and then click the Go Online button again.
2. Your web browser may have a popup blocker that’s preventing the broadcast window from opening. Try disabling your popup blocker.
3. The broadcast window may already be open, but hidden behind the main window. Try minimizing your main browser window or moving it, to see if there’s another window open behind it.

If you’re broadcasting from a mobile device such an iPhone, iPad, Android phone or tablet, you have to install a separate application to broadcast. For details, please see the article, How do I broadcast from my phone or tablet?

• How do I start a private show?

Aa a model YOU CANNOT START A PRIVATE SHOW. Only a member can request a private. Once the member has requested a private, you can either accept it or decline it.

You can, however, start a Fake Private. A Fake Private creates the appearance that you’re in a private, but you DO NOT earn a per-minute rate in a Fake Private show. The purpose of the Fake Private is to attract Voyeurs. If you get Voyeurs watching your Fake Private, you’d earn the Voyeur rate for each viewer, but there’s no guarantee that anyone will watch.

• Do I have to be nude while broadcasting?

When you’re in free chat, you MAY be topless, but you may NOT be fully nude.

When you’re in a private show, depending on the client, you may be asked to pose nude or perform sexual acts such as masturbation, playing with sex toys, etc…

It’s always YOUR choice to pose nude or partake in sexual acts. It’s important to be up-front with clients about what you will or will not do in a private show. Most of our models are comfortable posing fully nude, but we also have models who only appear topless and still make plenty of money. It all depends on your personality and what you’re comfortable with.

We also offer payment anywhere in the world via Bitcoin

• Do you offer payment by direct deposit?

If you’d like to receive payment by direct deposit to your bank account, we recommend selecting Coinbase as your payment method. Coinbase works in many countries, but if it’s not available in your country, you can also try Paxum or ePayments, both of which offer direct deposit in many countries.

• How do I withdraw money from Coinbase to my bank account?

For instructions on withdrawing money from Coinbase, please read our Coinbase article.

• Do you offer PayPal as a payment method?

For US models, we DO offer a way to receive payments via PayPal. Please read the article, Receiving Payments via PayPal, for more information.

• When do I get paid?

We send payments automatically on the 1st and the 16th of each month. You don’t need to “cash out” or do anything special to get paid, it happens automatically.

There’s no holdback period. If you earn money during a pay period, you’ll be paid the day after the pay period ends. For example if you join the site and start working on the 15th of the month, you’d receive your first payment the following day on the 16th.

• Are models penalized for chargebacks?

Under most circumstances, we absorb chargebacks. This means you are NOT penalized if a member request a refund, decides not to pay us or defrauds the site using a stolen credit card. We realize it’s not your fault if a customer scams the site and you did the work, so you’ll still be paid.

The only exception is if the model actively participates in the fraud. This is an extremely rare situation and if you’re not doing anything fraudulent, you have nothing to worry about.

• What’s the minimum payment amount?

The minimum payment amount is $20.

if you don’t earn the minimum during a pay period, the money isn’t lost. The balance will remain in your model account and will continue to accumulate after each pay period until you’ve earned the minimum.

• How much are credits worth?

The value of credits in dollars varies depending on how much you charge for a private show. To view the exact conversion rates, in your model account, please navigate to My Profile->Rates & Percentages.

• Where can I set my payment method and check my earnings?

You can select your payment method and view your earnings in your model account on the My Earnings page.

• What company name will appear on my payments?

The company name will be listed as a generic name that can not be traced back to a webcam site. We do this to protect YOUR privacy. If we listed the company name on this website then anyone would be able to Google it and find out that you’d worked as a webcam model.

• Will you report my income to the IRS?

Yes, but only if you reside in the United States and earn at least $600 during the year. If those conditions are met, we’ll send a 1099 to both you and the IRS.

• Do you deduct taxes from my paycheck?

No, you’re considered an Independent Contractor, not an employee. Therefore, we pay you the entire amount you’re owed and it’s your responsibility to pay whatever taxes may be due.

• How do I get paid? What payment methods are available?

To learn about the available payment methods, please read our article, Payment Methods.

General 18 questions
• Who is CamJobs 4 Models? What is your relationship to MongoCams, ModelScope and other cam sites?

CamJobs 4 Models is the official recruiting and support site for a network of hundreds of cam sites, including MongoCams, ModelScope and many others.

• Is CamJobs 4 Models a studio?

No, we are NOT a studio, we are the network. When you register on this site, you are registering to work on our network, which includes hundreds of webcam sites. We also provide support for all models on our network, regardless of whether you registered on this site or on one of our individual cam sites.

• Are you affiliated with Streamate?

No, Streamate operates their own network of sites and we are not affiliated with them; they are a competitor.

The same is true for other networks, including Live Jasmin, Naked, MFC, Cam4, etc, etc, etc… Each of these companies operates their own network and we are NOT affiliated with any of them. Therefore, if you’re already registered on these sites, there’s no conflict with us; you may also register on our network.

• How do I sign up to work as a model?

You may register on our Webcam Model Application page.

• How do I become an agent for your company?

If you want to earn money by recruiting models, you can register for a studio account at EZ CamSites.

Unlike other webcam networks, we don’t have a separate agent program. The reason is, our studio program includes all the features of a typical agent program. For example, we can pay your models directly, so you don’t have to deal with payroll. We can also provide support for your models and your models can self-register on our site. So if you just want to earn money by referring models, that’s definitely possible with our studio program.

• Do you offer opportunities in porn?

Yes, we have a separate talent management company that represents porn actors. However, you’d have to be based in Las Vegas or willing to relocate. Contact us for more information.

• Do you offer live-in webcam modeling opportunities?

Yes, we do. You’d have to be in the age range of 18 – 25 and willing to relocate to Las Vegas. Contact us for more information.

• Do you accept models from my country?

We accept models from almost every country on Earth. The only exceptions are the handful of countries designated by the United States government as sponsors of terrorism.

• How much can I make as a webcam model?

For most models, webcam modeling is a fun and easy way to earn money to help pay for bills, school expenses, or just to have some extra spending money. Please don’t buy into the hype that many sites promote, claiming you can make $5,000/wk or other similar nonsense. These sites are using a “churn and burn” approach to recruiting models, making exaggerated income claims to recruit as many girls as possible, hoping some of them stick around.

It’s impossible for us to predict how much any given model will earn. There are simply too many variables to consider. Physical appearance is obviously a factor, but personality is equally, perhaps even more important. Other factors include your age, experience, motivation, working hours, etc… We’re often pleasantly surprised when an average-looking girl signs up and starts making tons of money. We’re also frequently disappointed when a hot girl signs up and does poorly.

Although we can’t quote exact income figures, we can give you a rough idea of what’s typical and what’s possible. Most models will average in the range of $5 – $15/hour. Exceptional models can average $20 – $50/hour or more. Sometimes you’ll get lucky and a big spender will take you private for an hour-long show. Depending on your price, that show alone could be worth $60 – $150, not bad for an hour’s work! Again, for most girls, this is a way to earn some extra spending money, not a full-time career. It’s certainly possible to turn it into a full-time career, but it requires a lot of work and dedication to make that happen.

• How much traffic does your network receive?

Our network receives over a million unique visitors per month. That may sound like a lot, but it’s relatively small, compared with huge companies like Streamate. However, traffic is only part of the story. The other part is the number of models online at any given time.

You see, while Streamate has a ton of traffic, they also have a ton of models, frequently more than a thousand models online. So if you think of traffic as a pizza pie and a thousand hungry models grabbing at the pie to get a slice, you realize it needs to be an awfully big pie to feed all those models.

By comparison, our pie is much smaller, but we also have far fewer models online, so it doesn’t require a huge pie to feed all of them. Typically, we have around 40 – 50 models online at a time. Given the amount of traffic and the number of models online, there’s definitely an opportunity for our models to make good money, just as much as many models on Streamate and other huge networks.

• Do I have to be young and hot?

Honestly, it helps. All else being equal, younger and hotter is better.

However, personality is just as important. We have many average-looking girls and older women who make good money due to their friendly, outgoing, flirtatious personalities. We also have some hot young girls who make little money due to their negative attitudes.

So no, you don’t necessarily have to be young and hot.

• What are the age requirements?

To work as a webcam model, you must be at least 18 years of age. There’s no upper age limit.

• How long does it take to be approved?
• We approve most models within one business day from the time all documents have been properly submitted.
• Our compliance department is open Monday – Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Pacific time (GMT -8).
• If we receive a completed applications in the morning, we usually review it the same day. If we receive an application during the afternoon, we’ll probably review it the following day..

Here are a couple of examples:

Sally Superstar

• 9:00 AM -Sally submits her model application
• 9:15 AM – Sally uploads her ID photos and signs the documents. She follows the instructions and views the ID photos on her computer before uploading them, to make sure they’re clear and readable.
• 9:30 AM – Sally uploads her profile photos
• 2:00 PM – Our compliance team reviews Sally’s application. Everything looks perfect. Her Photo ID picture is high resolution and shows the entire ID, including all the corners and edges. Her Holding ID photo shows the ID held next to her face and the ID is clear enough that we can read her name. Sally is approved and can start broadcasting immediately.

Suzy Slacker

• 9:00 AM – Suzy submits her model application. However, Suzy didn’t read the instructions, so she thinks she’s done.
• 12:00 Midnight – We send Suzy an email, to remind her that she needs to upload her ID photos and profile photos and sign her documents.

• 4:00 PM – Suzy finally gets around to reading her email and realizes her application is incomplete.
• 4:15 PM – Suzy submits her ID photos, but she doesn’t upload her profile photos and doesn’t sign the documents.
• 12:00 Midnight – We send Suzy an email to remind her that she still needs to upload her profile photos and sign the documents.

• 4:00 PM – It’s been a couple of days and Suzy is wondering why she hasn’t been approved yet. She finally checks her email and realizes she still needs to upload her profile photos and sign the documents.
• 4:15 PM – Suzy uploads her profile photos and signs the documents.

• 11:00 AM – Now that Suzy’s application is finally complete, our compliance team reviews it. Unfortunately, her ID photos are too blurry and she entered her ID number incorrectly in her documents. We immediately send her email notifying her of the problems.

• 3:00 PM – Suzy finally reads the email and then re-takes her ID photos and re-signs the documents, entering the correct ID number. This time, she follows the instructions and views the ID photos on her computer, before uploading them, to make sure they’re clear and readable.

• 11:30 AM – Our compliance team reviews Suzy’s updated application and this time, everything looks good, so she’s approved

Moral of the Story

We wish all models were more like Sally Superstar! Unfortunately, most are more like Suzy Slacker, so the approval process tends to move slowly. Our industry is strictly regulated by the federal government and there’s no margin for error when it comes to ID and age verification. We have to do everything by the book, so if your ID photos aren’t clear or don’t meet the requirements, we have no choice but to reject your application. It’s frustrating for us and we know it’s frustrating for you.

The moral of the story is, if you want your application approved quickly, please read the instructions and pay attention to the details.

• Are there any fees to sign up as a model?
• No, there are absolutely NO FEES to sign up as a model.
• WE pay YOU to work on our site, not the other way around!
• If a webcam site wants to charge you a fee, that site is a SCAM, plain and simple. No legitimate webcam site would ever charge its models to work.
• What kind of support do you provide for models?

We only make money when you making money, so it’s in our best interest for you to succeed and maximize your income. Therefore, we’re happy to provide as much support as you need to get started in this business.

We randomly monitor our performers’ chat sessions, but upon request, we can specifically monitor your sessions and provide feedback and tips via private messaging. Additionally, we’re available to help you setup your computer and webcam, advise you on how to improve your lighting and sound and anything else you need help with.

If you’re having technical issues broadcasting, with your permission, we can connect to your computer remotely to troubleshoot and fix the problem.

• Do I have to troll for customers?

Absolutely not!

Our websites receive millions of visitors each month and all that traffic goes directly to our models. Our job is to bring you customers and your job is to perform for those customers.

When you login to your chat room on our site, we’ll immediately start sending customers into your room. Most models will typically have anywhere from 5 to 20 customers in their room at any given time.

With all that said, we do offer a lucrative referral program for models who bring new customers to the site. When you refer a new customer, you’ll earn 20% of everything that customer spends on the site, for life. You earn the commission even when he spends money on other models.

• Which websites will I appear on?

We actually operate hundreds of websites and you’ll appear on all our sites simultaneously. To see an example of one of our websites, check out ModelScope.

• How do you decide which models get hired?

We don’t have any type of selection process for our models. So long as you meet the legal requirements pertaining to age, ID verification, etc… you’ll be able to work on our websites.

Remember that you’re not being “hired” in the sense of working as an employee. You’re applying to work as an independent contractor on our websites and your success is entirely up to you. The models who succeed and make money are generally physically attractive and have outgoing, flirtatious personalities. If you’re overweight, unattractive, or have a dull personality, it’s unlikely that you’ll succeed at this.

Privacy and Security 8 questions
• Will my personal information be kept confidential?

Your personal information will absolutely be kept confidential.

• We will NEVER reveal your real name or contact information to ANYONE outside our company.
• Your personal information will NEVER appear anywhere on our website. The information you submit on the model application is kept strictly confidential.
• In this industry, reputation and trust is paramount. Any company that revealed their performers’ information to outside parties would not remain in business for very long.
• Will my pictures or videos be distributed to other sites?

Absolutely NOT.

We do NOT use your pictures or videos for advertising, nor do we distribute them to any sites outside our network. We value our relationship with our performers and we want you to be happy and continue to work on our sites. Therefore trust and respect are paramount.

• Why do you need pictures of my photo ID?

We are required by law to verify the age and identity of all our performers. The adult entertainment industry is strictly regulated by the federal government pertaining to identity and age verification. For details, please see the Wikipedia article, Child Protection and Obscenity Enforcement Act.

• Will this show up on a background check?

No, there’s no reason why working as a webcam model would show up on any normal background check.

Background checks use information from public databases. If you work as an employee in a regular salaried job, where you receive a W-2, that would be included in your credit report and would likely show up in a background check.

However, when you work as a webcam model, you’re an independent contractor and NOT considered an employee of our company. Thus, your income would NOT be reported to any credit bureau, which is the main source of information for background checks.

Now, if you go around telling all your friends that you’re working as a webcam model or post it on your social media, then of course it could show up on a background check. However, that would be due to your own actions. Therefore, if you’re concerned about privacy, we suggest you don’t discuss this with others and never reveal your real name or contact information to members.

• Can members find out where I live?

Absolutely not. We do not reveal your personal information to any customers, EVER.

• Can I hide my face or wear a mask while broadcasting?

Yes, you may.

• Is this safe?
• Working as a webcam model allows you to work safely and securely from the comfort of home. Since you don’t have to leave home to work, it’s safer than most jobs.
• We will NEVER publish your personal information anywhere on our website.
• We will NEVER reveal your real name, location, email address, phone number or ANY OTHER PERSONAL INFORMATION to a customer.
• You’ll broadcast using a stage name, NOT your real name.
• You can block people in states, provinces and/or countries you select. When you block a state, province or country, people from that region will not see your profile on our websites and will not be able to chat with you.
• Why can’t I find my profile on the cam site?

If you can’t find your profile, it’s usually because you’ve blocked your state, province or country. When you block a geographic region it hides your profile from everyone in that region, including YOU!

Studio Program 2 questions
• Who can become a studio?

Studio accounts are for people or companies that intend to recruit models.

If you’re planning to work as a model yourself, you should sign for a Model Account, not a Studio Account. You can have both a Model Account and a Studio account, but you may NOT work as a model under your own studio account.

To learn more about our studio and white label program, visit EZ CamSites.

• How do I register for a studio account?

You may register as a studio and earn money by recruiting models at EZ CamSites.

Technical Issues 2 questions
• How do I fix the Browser Zoom error?

Our broadcast application is designed to work with web browsers set to normal zoom level, which is 100%. When you click the Go Online button to broadcast, our system checks your zoom level. If it’s higher than 100%, it will display a warning notice, advising you to reduce your zoom level. If you ignore the notice, the application will be too large to fit in the window, so parts of it may not be visible. For instance, you may not be able to type or may not be able to see what users are typing or the list of members in the room.

To reduce your zoom level, you need to follow different steps depending on which browser you’re using. Here are links to instructions for popular web browsers:
